No, you don't have to wait until the CSS is loaded in - this page is intentionally barebones. Maybe one day I'll update it.
If you want to know something about me: I am a research master student in new media at the University of Amsterdam. In the broadest sense, I am interested in digital technologies - the theoretical aspects as well as its practicalities (although you likely wouldn't tell from this webpage). Ideally, I try to bridge the gap between the theoretical and material ends of digital technology, in order to ground what by many is perceived as highly abstract. Recently, I've started research into the more obscure areas of the Web with the research group OILab.
Some of my projects:
A very preliminary research tool for exploring the 'Deep Vernacular Web'
An interactive journey through the history of online advertising.
A tool that allows you to quickly explore the images on a Facebook Page or a subreddit.
A visualisation of the websites that US Senators refer to on their Facebook pages.
A social party game (3-8 players) where you guess what your friends think about themselves. Free to play, on any browser screen - just go to judgement.al
I work(ed) with the creative minds of the Utrecht-based conceptdevelopers of Open Concept. Initially as an intern working on Het Gezondste Festival: a festival that presented health in a playful, innovative and unusual way. Later, I worked on Building Blocks, a project that presented innovations from Utrecht in minitature-style blocks (of which I also made one).
